Well... it's not confusing to me! A tuba is a tuba, a euphonium is a euphonium, a baritone is a baritone, a trumpet is a trumpet, etc., etc. The key has NOTHING to do with the configuration. Forget the double this and double that and call it what it is. (Now, I guess someone will have to do a ten paragraph dissertation about euphoniums vs. baritones).
This is always a fun topic. When is someone going to do a spreadsheet that shows tube lengths, keys, description, European terminology, Italian translation, etc.?
