You are probably right but you never know what's out there and it doesn't hurt to ask. Our conductor likes to do "Pines of Rome" a lot and the second BBb part is down in the pedal B natural areaa a lot. This is not in itself a reason for four valves but we play a lot of stuff that has me down in that range. My reasons for four vbalves are to give me a viable set of alternatives to the fake notes between low e natural and the pedal B flat. As I have never purchased a BBb tuba (my first tuba purchase was a CC) I have decided to start at the cheap end of the for sale spectrum, see what's available, and work my way from there. I do not need a brand new instrument so my knowledge of current acceptable prices is,to say the least, lacking.
