You make me want to take a shot at that one up for auction just on the chance that it might be a good one. Fortunately (unfortunately?) I don't have the money right now, even at it's current price. I like your analogy for the King. I do find that mine is very flexible and versatile. If I didn't have it I would definitely go for that Holton. I did try one of the new Kings this week at Dillons when I was picking up my York Monster eefer from being serviced. That particular King didn't play as well for me as mine does, but may be the right horn for someone else. What I do want to do is get some of those new, large valve buttons/caps for my King.
