If you deduct the bonus factors of myth, rarity, and actuality from the present evaluation topic of those vintage Holtons, you would quickly end up with the question of how about the modern Nirschl-'brunners' and Yorkbrunners, Gronitzs, Theins etc. in comparison. In other words, I think, the market provides what you desire (and more) under separate (brand) cover, and
ancient shortcomings of those vintage horns have been ironed out by improved nowedays constructions, IMO.
