I can say that it does a wonderful job at a whisper as well as full out and I think that the others who have played this tuba will agree. This horn is just flat out easy to play soft or loud.
By the way, I am not trying to sell anyone on this make or model, I am just reporting my experiences with this tuba as it is the only one in the States at this time.
I hope the information and sound files are useful to those that are interested.
