I agree. It was a great broadcast. I could actually hear Kyle Turner this time, and the Philharmonic sounds better now that Lorin Maazel(sp?) has taken the podium. I was so glad when Kurt Masur left because I thought he was making the Orchestra hold back too much, not only in volume but musically as well. I think Lorin Maazel has unleashed the orchestra, and is playing great like the Zubin Mehta years. It was a very nice, refreshing broadcast to hear the NYPhil play like they used to back in the 80's!
