what do you mean it doesn't project. It projects great. it's got a commanding nature. It just doesn't sound as full on the lower registers as is sometimes preferred. and Carrasco right about your chops as well. You've got to be strong enough to play on it. It projects more than any 4/4 i've played on, including VMI's, it just doesn't fill up on the lower registers like is sometimes preferred(personally).
