Hello,
I am a student at Oberlin Conservatory, and for a winter-term project I will be working with James DeSano on brass repair along with a group of other brass students. We are in search for some instruments that are in need of repair and spare parts. Does anyone have some "junker" instruments that we could take off your hands to learn brass repair on? We are going to work on each brass instrument so we will need a trumpet, french horn, trombone, and tuba. If nobody has such an instrument, does anyone know where we can get our hands on some? Feel free to email me personally or just post right on here. Anything will pretty much be helpful. Thank you.
P.S.: Tuba Christmas at Severance hall in Cleveland was a very nice event. There were plenty of big names there with great sounds.
