If you need a "legal opinion", you should pay for one. Any opinion you get here will be completely worthless.
If you need a "moral opinion", you are on your own. Feel free to use the "what would your Mother say?" test.
As a practical matter, if you don't sell or too widely freely distribute your copy then no one will care. As for performances...that's an entirely different question and it hardly matters if you are performing from a legal copy, or not. [but, see above]
