I play one of these late-model 62H's(c.1971)-It seems like a heck of a trombone if it could be restored-it's an absolute wreck in all areas except for the slide. I love the way the in-slide tuning works-it's just a real pain to get the horn in tune and keep the slide positions where you expect them to be. If I could find a new bell for this horn and get the small tubing de-dented, it would be a great horn. Sadly, I'm about to stop playing it in jazz band in exchange for bass guitar-trombone just kills my chops too much, and I don't feel like spending a lot of money on MP's when I play it three times a week at most.
