I think I recall a well-known tuba 'cutter' saying that with hindsight he was gutted to think of all the great tubas he messed up trying to cut them in his early attempts.
Could any folks who partake in conversions comment on their 'wastage' of tubas. Ever really stuffed up a horn that coulda/shoulda been 'THE' horn?!?
Not wanting to gloat over others mishaps, just wondering what peoples success rate is with cutting horns.
