The traditional "liberal arts" education gives one the tools to think. There are lots of jobs out there for someone with that skill and the will to use it. A good friend of mine served 27 years in the Army and retired as a Colonel. He was a french horn major in College. He's working for a Major Computer manufacturer now. No one hired him for the horn- but he was a thinking, educated man upon graduation and turned out to be quite employable thank you.

He did, on at least one occasion point out that had I majored in music I'd still be an undergraduate today...
