- Did you use a tuner very much when you were previously "in shape"?
- Do other "any shape" folks play your tuba 20 cents sharp?
- Is you tuba one of the makes/models that is notoriously sharp?
- Any other variables...(' room heated up to 78 degrees, rather than 72, etc.)
- Are you possibly trying to make up for slightly weakened embouchure muscles by compensating with your biceps (ie. cramming the mouthpiece into your face)?
