There were various inquiries on this bulletin board regarding scales, and the use of the
4th and 5th valve.
A good resource for these scales for various tubas including those with the flat whole
step 5th valve and also the two whole step 5th valve is in "The Art of Tuba and Euphonium
by Harvey Phillips and William Winkle. This book is available from the Barnes and Noble
website (barnesandnoble.com) for about $12.00 plus shipping and handling.
