Well, not having any idea of the ability of the player in question, I can at least offer up the solos that I played in high school.
In 10th grade, I played "Air and Bouree" (sorry, forgot who composed it), and in 11th grade I played Barat's "Introduction and Dance". Of the two, I think the Barat is definitely more challenging, both technically and musically, but then again, they moth both seem a bit easy to the player in question.
