It would be a good idea to become acquainted with the "war horses" if you are so inclined. These are the Vaughan Williams Concerto, Hindemith Sonate, and Gregson Concerto. You will see one or more of these three show up on an audition in the future and they are cornerstone pieces which gave the instrument of tuba more credibility as a soloistic device.
