As it turns out I own a sousaphone (Boosey and Hawkes) which is perfect for dixie gigs.A Helicon would be cool, but little money have I...The mouthpiece issue is sorted out and I agree that the mouthpiece should match the horn.
If anyone has a BBb tuba (4/4 4v small bore) for sale, I would be interested in purchasing it.If it has damage/worn out valves, no problem.
Also does anyone know anything about 4v BBb Beuscher Recording Tubas? I have access to a bell front (detachable) model, and would like to find an upright bell for it.
