You're right, I think, if they are simply telling the truth and biting the bullet then it is refreshing. What would scare me would be if they said what they did because they simply don't care. The original poster did state that they never gave him/her a reason why the horn wasn't shipped. They just admitted it hadn't been shipped and would now be shipped immediately. I can easily see this scenario applying to any merchant who dominates a segment of the marketplace to the point that buyers simply have to put up with the poor customer service because they have to go to said merchant to obtain a specific product. In every business there are mistakes but customer service can make or break a business these days. That is the shame I was referring to. Let's all hope this was an isolated incident. The last thing we need is for there to be fewer places to play test and purchase tubas...
