My advice is to take a trip to the Brasswind in South Bend, Indiana, Custom Music, Willson, Dillion Music, or The Tuba Exchange, or any number of other great tuba stores , or if that is beyond your means, have them send you horns. It will cost to have them sent, but you are probably buying a tuba for life, or at least a number of years, so you should put careful thought and consideration into this investment. I personally play a Mirafone 188-5U and happen to love it. But,you might find something at a tuba store you like better, because all tubas are getting better and better, and you can only come out good selecting, with careful consideration, the model that suits your needs best
