Alas, my 184 has only 4 valves; and I have never seen a 184 with a flat whole step 5th valve. As i am considering adding a 5th valve to mine, I am curious why you are contemplating the switch. Is there some intonation quirk that you think would be better served with a flat whole step? Or are you trying to match it up to your other 5 bangers?
Since I am used to the flat 2 step set-up , and the first valve slide is an easy pull- the flat 2 step seemed a no-brainer... Just wondering if I should rethink...
