I can second that opinion. The 2 years I was studying with him, I kept stating that I wanted to sell my CC and buy a PT-6p. Mr. Perantoni kept talking me out of it. He said it wasn't the right horn for what I was after.

He doesn't force his students to buy Custom Music instruments, but his students realize that Perantucci's are great horns. If he didn't believe in the horns he promotes, then trust me, he would not push them. Any horn that B&S makes with his name on it is either a great instrument, or will be within a year or two more of development.

If he would have told me that I would sound better on a Yamaha 3 valver, then I would have followed him blindly. The man is always right, IMHO!!!

Now, the price sheet of some of those horns is another topic, which I would prefer not get into.
