Yeah, that's a good point. There are some people that want to put their music up for free because there is no OTHER place to get their music. I know several underground rock bands that have done this (my personal favorite being The Doormats from San Francisco). I have no problem with that AS LONG AS the artist on said recording knows about it and sanctions it (if he's not the one putting it up himself). It's when people pull down recordings off of available, published albums and build libraries of music on their computer that mp3 files cross into the realm of piracy. That's what my original post was directed at.

I guess I may have misinterpreted Matt's original desire. In that case, I'll give you my straight answer...(ahem)...no, I don't know of any places that have mp3 files!

I'm now going for a Coca-Cola!
