I went down to Dillon Music a few months ago and tried a ton of horns. Two of the ones I came away liking were the Yamaha 822 and 861. They each sound similar, in my mind, but the 822 has a bit more edge to it, and the 861 is a bit more "pillowy", if you will. I also personally prefer pistons to rotors, so I bought the 822. But you should go to a music store and play everything and find the one that you sound best on. Hope this helps
