I have heard that if you join the Navy, a Willson EEb can be yours at the snap of a finger. Apparently, our tax $$$$$$$$$$'s have placed about a half dozen NEW Willson EEb's in Navy storage, which have been collecting dust there for quite some time... (Thank-you Marty Erickson, [I guess.])

...Maybe one of us could eventually luck into being able to bid on them at a military surplus auction. What is your guess? $300, $400, or as much as $1000 each for the "lot" of them?

B.T.W. as an answer to your question, these are GREAT tubas. They feel a little "stiff" to me, but I would wager that after a couple of days, a Willson EEb would feel like a "good old shoe". (I sell, 'em, too, as others who post here do. Most of us are willing to sell them for very little above our cost, as the "return ratio" on these is very low.)
