I'm looking for a F-tuba to play as a college performance major. Basically it would be my 2nd horn for small ensembles and a few exerpts. I'm looking at a Meinl Weston 45S-LP, a PT (10,11, or 15) and whatever else you guys might recommend. Any comments about any of these horns? Any difference between the PT-10 and the PT-10P other than piston and rotary? Is the 6th valve of a PT-11 worth the extra money? What other horns would you recommend?
