There are lots of good options out there - I own a Willson Eb (which I love dearly and did get the 'good old shoe' feel to it rather quickly) as do two of my friends, my teacher owns a Besson 983 which he sounds great on (Prof. Sinder would sound great on an ashtray, but I digress) but wasn't really for me, and some of the older horns (York Monsters in particular) have a lot of good vibes floating around them as well. Have about $7000 on hand to get whatever plays the best (The Willson is the most expensive and can be had for around that), and go out there and blow!!! HAve fun and good luck!
