Everyone is correct in agreeing that all valves need to be broken in.

Still, I bought a new pt-7P about 5 months ago. The valves are essentially the same make as the ones used on the SLPs. I was going nuts with the pistons until someone else with a 7P clued me into clarks's viper oil. This is great stuff. It actually has detergent in it to help clean out all the crud that gets into valve systems.

My valves are not perfect, but they are %1000 more user friendly now. This was the only oil I found to really work on these valves. In fact, borrowing others' al kass, hetman, selmer and a few others at the last minute have all messed up my valves worse than when they are dry.

give it a shot, I'm sure it will help lessen you headaches!
