The one I had 16 years ago was made by Cerveny/Amati. In detail it was like a Cerveny, but similar instruments from other importers had "Amati" stamped on them. My best guess is that it was a Cerveny stencil.

At the time, it was a decent horn with a large bore and lightweight, hollow valves. The brass was thin and soft, and the linkages needed replacing in about 15 minutes. Also, there was a leaky solder joint in the second valve that glowed in the dark, which amazed me because the horn had been a demonstrator and had been "play-tested."

Five minutes with the brochure for the Sanders tubas will tell you that many of the Sanders models are stencilled Cervenys, but not all of them. The Sanders "Imperial", for example, seems to be a Chinese horn. If the it looks just like a Cerveny, then it is one.
