Jason, you may want to contact the tuba instructor at the United States Armed Forces School of Music. When I was there they had a bunch of really old stuff. Hard to say if it is still there, but it is worth a shot. You may also want to contact some of the guys in the Washington Bands, there may be stuff in their libraries that could help. I have a copy of a book called "Unisonal Scales & Rhythmic Patterns for Bands" written in 1921 by William White, an instructor at the old Army School of Music. It is a very heavy duty book that is not for the faint of heart, at least in 1921. I also a copy of the Coast Gaurd Schools' Tuba Drill Book. Contact me if these might help.If I am not mistaken, the number at the CMAA Shack at the school is (757)474-7774. Good Luck.
