As a matter of fact the previous owner began playing along in the church band over 40 years ago and says this tuba was used when he purchased it! It does have a nice sound, and considering it's murky origins, pretty decent intonation.
I still haven't figured out how to post pictures or attach pictures to a post. Sean responded to me saying I could use HTML directly in the message, but since I'm computer illiterate that didn't help me. I will post pix ASAP, since I'm also interested in finding out an approximate value (don't imagine it's worth much though, being 3-valve...).
