There is something special about the sound of this horn! After kicking myself in the rear for selling an awesome Alex CC, this is the horn that has come closest to the old sound in my head, but with the clarity of pistons. I really enjoy this instrument and think that it is one of the better 4/4 horns on the market.
The low register is not as easy on this horn as I wish it was. I'm using a Marcinkiewicz Rose Model and getting pretty good results. Your milage may vary....
