Has anyone ever listened to Bela Fleck? He, as a soloist, is a legendary bluegrass banjo player. He is also the leader of a Grammy-winning progressive jazz group called Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. I have many of the Flecktones albums and they are phenomenal. Any bass doublers should listen to Victor Wooten. He is absolutely the best bassist I have ever heard, technically and musically. The music is definitely jazz, though it always has the driving rhythm of bluegrass, because Bela Fleck uses the traditional bluegrass fingerpicking in most of his playing.

Great stuff!
