Joe and I are members of the "Mutual Admiration Society." Actually, thanks for the kind plug. Here are a few facts about the Musical Instrument Repair Program at Renton Tech...

+ 11 months of hands-on training in woodwinds and brass (we have tons of sousas to work on!)
+ Optional courses in guitar and string repair (not taught by me)
+ N.A.P.B.I.R.T. instructor just like Western Iowa and Redwing
+ Located in a suburb of Seattle, WA (lots of playing oppotunities)
+ Large facility with buffing rooms, lathes, soldering area, dent room, chemical room, library with T1 internet access in the classroom, two dent machines, woodworking tools, and all of the latest and greatest repair tools. (try our pneumatic dent remover for fun!)
+ No out-of-state tuition charge. Total cost for the eleven months is $2300.00 + $700.00 for tools (which you keep).
+ Students from age 18-57 currently in the program.
+ Excellnet placement throughout the U.S. There are more jobs than there are graduates.

Anyone with questions, feel free to contact me. Daryl
