Dies even harder when spelled right. And unions are not employment agencies. You have a very interesting view of how they work. I got the first job in a Union group and was asked to join the Union. The Union had no part in my getting the job but, since I was going to get the Union benefits, I thought it reasonable to join and pay the dues. But I didn't ask for the benefits before I joined. All this seemed reasonable to me. Don't know what the confusion is.
