I STRONGLY suggest you also contact Matt Walters, the wizard-technician at Dillon's who most recently worked that horn over. Joe S. is a great guy and his work is top notch as far as fit and finish. Matt seemed to figure out some of that specific horn's quirks though, AND after getting it into his shop he did some things to it, afterwards it's playability and intonation were much much better. He's the guy you should talk to if you are looking for insight into the playing characteristics / dynamics of your horn in the configuration it's in now.
