First, the serious reply:

Sonata from Die Baenkensaengerlieder (ya gotta add them "e"s when thars umlauts afoot) was the first quintet piece I ever played. I still really enjoy it.

Now for fun:

Your spelling was somewhat amusing . . . "BankelsangerLEIDER" -- well, "leider" means "unfortunately", auf deutsch! "Lieder" is "songs". "Baenkelsaengerlieder", tactfully translated, is either an "illegitimate singer of songs", or a "singer of illegitimate songs" -- I suspect the latter. Although I'm not a German, and don't play one on TV, I sort of assume this rather refers to a minstrel, or a folk singer.

Help, Klaus! What's the REAL translation of Baenkelsaengerlieder?
