I stuck a set (of two, obviously) recording bass tuba cases on ebay. The auction ends on Sunday evening (U.S.A. time). I know that the cases will fit an old front-action Martin (with a bell flair up to 24"), and these cases should also fit a BBb King "Symphony Bass" (1240, 1241, 2340, 2341, etc.).

The body case WILL NOT fit Conn 20-21-24-25 J top-action/short-action tuba bodies, so you Conn guys should NOT bid, unless you are willing to "toss" the body case and ONLY use the bell case.

Hey, these cases look "old", but they also look decent and have plenty of life left in them. Further, they were built a LOT sturdier (with curved sides, plenty of corner braces, and giant latches/hinges) than the current generation of boxy Wisconsin-made cases.

Need 'em? Click below to see 'em. There are some pics, and in the pics you will see a yardstick conveniently laid across the key measurement areas. Measure YOUR recording bass tuba (if it is a make other than those mentioned above) prior to bidding, please.
