I don't know why I'm so surprised that Farah hails from southeast Texas. It's so hard to hear those latent accents on the Internet, heh, heh.
And to Mom: Indeed, I know where Brazosport is, but I'm surprised to see it discussed here. And I'm even more surprised to hear that it has a symphony--it must have grown lots since my last trip past the Dow plant to Freeport. Although one of the best jazz festivals for high-school stage bands (at least when I was in high school) was at Wharton County Junior College, just down the road a few miles.
