As Austin said, Brevard is wonderful festival. I personally have never gone, but I know several tubists that have gone, and every one absolutely loved it. The same goes for New England music camp. The Boston University Tanglewood Institute is a great camp as well up in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts. The coolest thing about it is that you're right down the street from Tanglewood, where you can hear the Boston Symphony for free three times a week. BUTI has both a band and an orchestra program. Also check out Eastern Music Festival, which is down in North Carolina. Definetly go to one of these camps if you can afford it.
