Yes, it does.

There is some history on the website about how this freeware came to be, but in a nutshell, it's from a civic-minded musician/programmer that got sick of Sibelius and Finale.

It really is very intuitive and easy to use. It allows for single-part scoring all the way up to being able to handle Mahler 5. One flaw that I have found is that the point-and-shoot note placement only works down to low A, but after you place the note all you have to do is click and drag it down as far as you want it to go. After a little practice, this is way faster than I could score it by hand on staff paper, and you can actually read it.

If you get it and have some problems, e-mail me. Some of it took a little trial and error to figure out, but nothing serious. Just took a little time is all.
