The Bach 18 is a good all-around mouthpiece if you like cup-shaped mouthpieces. I prefer more funnel shaped mouthpieces, like a Helleberg. Also, I find the 18 a bit too large for an Eb tuba. I prefer a Conn Helleberg 7B, or a Schilke Helleberg for playing Eb tuba.
