I am going to be in Columbus Ohio the 9-12 of Feb. with my wife. She will be in meetings each day and I will not. I am looking for a small 3/4 tuba and would like to know if anyone has one in the area I could try while I am there. Also is there a store or shop there that would have tubas to try. Also I am looking for a silver sousaphone playable or not.
One more thing. Is there any concerts on any of the dates between 9-12 Feb. in Columbus? Anything will do, we will have ditched the kids and hope to enjoy some finer entertainment than (sponge bob square pants and rug rats) for a change. What about this Promusica , Columbus's premier chamber orchestra? It has something going on, according to the web site I think it is just a flute and a bassoon (I would hope for a "little" more brass). www.promusicacolumbus.org
