I knwo everyone os tired of hearing I marched rum corps but we had silver horns and I got used to cleaning it in a hurry so I could get more down time.
Use Blue Magic. You can get it in Walmart for $3.96. It takes two cotton rags and the stuff, but it leaves the horn with a dark shine that is totally awesome. IT will take off all of the black stuff on your horn.
Make sure to get blue magic and NOT BLACK MAGIC!
