I also have a Monette 94F, which I use with my Yamaha YFB822S. I really like it. My sound has never focused that well. My intonation is much better in both upper and lower register. I have a better dynamic control with the Monette. etc. But, it did take me a while to get used to the mouthpiece though. First time I got it, I was cracking tone every where, and my intonation was awful. I couldn't even play a simple tune with just the mouthpiece. I guess, it did take me a whole month to get used to it.
I always thought that mouthpiece is very personal, and you just have to find your match.
