I can't say I agree about Jacobs not sounding great. But, to each his own. I personally don't care for the first two solo cd's that Pat Sheridan. I have the utmost respect for Pat, have heard him live, met him numerous times, but, his recordings just bore me! His techinque is beyond belief and inspiring, I just can't listen to his cd's for long! I know what I said is really taboo, and I truly mean no harm to Pat. The cd he did recently however, stays in my five disc cd changer/player! I just prefer listening to Pat rip-up the Ellerby as opposed to techinical exercises. Just my .02 and I apologize if I offended anyone.
