Try a helleburg or a PT-88. Then try everything else. I had some clarity issues with my 641 and the bach 7 and 18. After switching to the SH, all was well. I can email you a lits of all the mouthpieces I've tried and what I thought of them on that horn if you like, but every one's different and my 641 isn't quite as finiky as others.

I particularly hated the Sckilke-Hellenburg for years because I though it was too "blatty" but I found that controling it was more of a maturity issue than anything else. Now I love it dearly.
