Not having a professional quality high register by any means, i can say though that when i play in the upper register it does feel like my lips move towards the mouthpiece. Im not sure if there's a clear way to put it, i just know that when i play up high and make the hole samller between my lips, the muscle tension makes it feel like they are moving fowards. I guess that's what he means.
