Kevin, Kevin, Kevin... Being able to give criticism to an ensemble such as the CSO, doesn't mean your being sacrilegious to our art, it only means you are educated enough to make that assumption. Another perfect example is Gene Pokorny's excerpt CD. I have the utmost respect for him and am a huge fan but young players are taking this CD and using it as the end all be all of these excerpts. There is some great playing on this CD but having my own opinions and musical ideals I would do some things differently.
