You know...I was thinking the same thing. The "imperfections" of the horn can really be noticed if you unfold the cd cover into the "poster." There are a lot of dings and things that can be noticed quite easily, but it's the bell that makes the horn look bad. It looks as if it has a lot of marks from crease repair, tons of water spots, and even more finger prints.
But, no, I have no idea why he didn't at least try to clean it up a little bit before the photo.
