Ive seen that yamaha has a coding system for serial numbers where you can tell what type of instrument it is by the three letter in the code.
YBB-BBb Bass
YCB-CC Bass
YEB-Eb Bass
YFB-F Bass
YEP-Euphonium
YTR-trumpet
YHR-Horn
YAH-Alto Horn
YBH-Baritone Horn
I see a pattern with the letters. It carries over ot woodwinds too if i remember.
Would Conn follow a pattern too? Since tubas end with J and Sousaphones with K would higher brass end with A-I?
